I am getting confused about molars and when they're supposed to come in.

DS (19m) has all his front teeth, 4 molars, top 2 canines are through and bottom 2 canines are currently breaking through. Are we expecting 4 more molars around now, or do they come later?

I feel like he's been teething pretty much non stop since 3 months, so would love a break!!!

There's more, but they may not appear for a while. He'll have more molars come in. My DS (21months) is complaining on occasion of headache, 'mouthache', and sometimes makes a ridiculous face with his mouth open like a fish and straining til he's red in the face. Try it...you will see that this particular 'face' relieves pressure on the area where the back molars will come in. So on the days when he looks at me with this face, I tend to give him some children's ibuprofen before bed and cold hard carrots to chew on during the day! He had all the teeth your son has by 16 months, so these last teeth are taking their bl**dy time! Hang in there x
