I am currently sat in my room hiding while my 16 month old screams bloody mirder outside my door. She is constantly like this if she doesn't get her way... If I won't pick her up, let her have something. She kicks me when im chabging her and if i tell her off she laughs... my eldest tries to cuddle her and she pushes her away and shouts.. I have a 9 week old baby and I am finding it really hard to cope. Please help me discipline her.... I didn't have these issues with my first. Please don't judge me for hiding for a few minutes... I know she's safe and not in pain I just need to get dressed without her pulling on my skirt

You have a new baby?

Therein lies the problem.

She wants attention - how much cuddles etc does she get? How much praise? Tell her what she's doing well, bearing in mind she is tiny (although she will seem much older now you have a newborn).

I really try to give her attention and cuddle her and kiss her but I cannot give her my full attention all the time, it's not even always to do with the baby, often I need to get on with the supper/get dressed/ help my 4 yr old... I am just struggling on a constant basis
