how do i wean my 4.5 month old off her swaddle??

anyone any experience?? she just loves it.if i try leaving one hand out it just being waved all over the place which wakes her.she has had long sleeps with one arm out. is it just a case of keeping trying do you think?

Try her in a sleeping bag?

Why do you need to? If she sleeps well swaddled?

Am I missing something?

I had the same worry and started leaving limbs out at night. In the end (around 3.5mo) my DD decided she'd had enough of it and she was the right size to go into a sleeping bag (and beginning to outgrow the swaddle). Soldier on.
