Clingy Children.

My DD is 7 yrs old. She's bright, outgoing, smart and enthusiastic. But she's always after a cuddle - even when she's had one a few minutes earlier.

I wouldn't mind so much, but I work from home and I can't get a lot done when she's around; she's always interrupting me and wanting a cuddle.

Am I over reacting or is there something there I should be worried about?

7 is old enough to talk about why she needs a cuddle so often. Get her to ask herself if she really needs to cuddle you right then, or if it can wait 10 minutes. Refusing a cuddle, if you give an honest explanation, won't harm her.
