.. does anyone else's little one "ahhh" in satisfaction after doing a big fart?

My DD started doing this recently and I don't know where she has picked it up from.

Does anyone else have a LO doing funny yet slightly distasteful things like this?

Not with farts but she does a contented 'aah' and lip-smack when she's had a drink. No idea where it has come from either.

That sounds like daddy behaviour if you ask me...

DD says "poo" after she farts. Guess she got that from nursery but when she is ready to potty train we will have to set her straight!

17mo DD just laughs after she farts... I blame DP of course.... and then if she's got no more farts she makes the noise with her mouth.

Yes dt's giggle and say big popper - it stinks.

mejon I taught her how to "ahh" after a drink and thought maybe she is starting to apply it to anything she finds satisfying.

Mistress maybe its one of those things I do without realising I'm doing it, I'm going to have to examine my post fart behaviour (sorry, crude). I may also have to spy on DH when he's playing with her to see if he's been teaching her these anti-social habits, and I bet I know what to put my money on.

This is all making me really nervous for when she learns to speak properly!
