Sleepwalking/talking toddler

Hi, just wanted to gauge how common this is. DD is 21 months and sleep walks and talks very often - we find her with a toy or a book sometimes in the middle of her room. She then gets really startled when she wakes up and isn't in bed. She chats away about all sorts when she's fast asleep too.

Weirdly, I stopped sleepwalking when I was pregnant with her and haven't since. But I did as a kid and into adulthood.

Is this just a typical toddler thing or is she taking after Mummy? Confused

Ds is 20 months and i sm sure he was asleep when he shot out of bed to escape out the room. I asked him to come back and he did. He was fast asleep when he was back in bed. He laughs quite often in his sleep and i have heard him mumble.
