15mo DS usually goes to sleep at 7, I put him in his cot day goodnight and leave. Asleep in seconds!

Last week or so he has started screaming if I leave so I have to sit there til he goes to sleep or I can sneak out without him noticing! 40mins tonight!!!

He's also started waking at 6 which again is unusual!

Don't know why the change... Nothing in his routine is different! Not teething or ill...

Help! X

Separation anxiety? My DS has never really been a good sleeper and for us on average it takes 30-40 minutes to put him to sleep and he still wakes up several times a night. But around 15 months it was even more impossible with him! He would not allow DH anywhere near him in the evenings, only I would do and he parked himself on my lap refusing to join the other kids at playgroups etc. It lasted a few weeks and then went back to normal, which isn't perfect, but bearable for us. Hang in there!
