Hi all, please advice on 'shoes' for my ds, he is 15 months and just starting to walk. He has no shoes yet, he has bare feet in the house and socks in the pram.
When I take him to the park I want to protect his feet. I have looked for some basic soft shoes but can only find ones upto 9 - 12 months.

Anyone have any ideas?
I dont want to spend a small fortune on shoes until he walks 'properly' IYKWIM

TIA

Do we assume you've looked at Clark's & decided they're not quite what you're after? My dd had never worn shoes at all when she started walking and when we first tried a pair on her she walked as if she was on the moon - they obviously felt really wierd to her. But, Clarks did a very light weight pair & she got used to them within a few hours. (Were probably about £22)

If you're after the more fabric, loose-fit type there are websites but they're not cheap - I'll see if I can find some links.

\link{http://www.cradleandall.co.uk/show_dept.php?dept_id=5\Daisyroots} are popular for new walkers - don't know about sizes though.
