Before I go all paranoid mum, I was wondering if any other MN's had some advice/reassurance..
Our DD was immunised with her first lot of injections on Monday afternoon. Fortunately it didn't seem to affect her too much. However, on Tuesday she filled her nappy 5 (FIVE!!!) times with very runny bright yellow poo (apologies for TMI!). She's BF but I did just give her some formula as a way of ensuring she's hydrated... but this was after all the poo so can't have impacted! and as far as I can determine my diet hasn't changed particularly. Yesterday she produced 4 very dirty nappies (one was so runny it was like water!). She also developed a rash, it gets worse when she's agitated but is most noticeable on her more delicate parts (eyes, armpits, girly parts!). I did speak to the HV who gave me some epiderm... which was slightly confusing as it isn't really dry skin! Today, she's filled her nappy 6 times...I've given her three helpings of Calpol since Monday, and as far as I can determine that's the only thing to have changed.
Is it a result of the jabs? Should I analyse my diet better? Or is it just 'one of those things'. I was advised by 9 weeks a baby shouldn't be doing so many poos..
Anyone out there have any similar experiences Who knew I'd be keen to hear about other babies nappies! heehee
