popsycal and I had a fun chat on someone else's thread (sorry about that) about the strange words our kids say and how hard it is to decipher them and I wondered if anyone else wanted to join in. My daughter's word for the day has been:

tudah (sort of pronounced cheewdaahh)

we truly have no inkling what it means.

I love these strange new words that little people come up with. Ds used to say "abbeys" for apples, "goggy" for dog, "hiya" for phone and "horch" for torch. We still use hiya, I have to say. Now we're into him coming home from school and calling everything "sexy" courtesy of one of his classmates

Both of my dd's have sworn once or twice but now seem to have grown out of it, but my dd2 has made up her own insult. If she's in a strop she'll tell you to 'stick it up your do da d dits'.

Nutcracker, might use that expression now and then myself if someone gets on my nerves ...

Dd hasn't done any kind of swearing yet. But my friend's little girl let out a perfect 'bugger!' the other day much to my friend's horror ...
