Toddler Groups,Upper Norwood

Hi all I'm new to this mumsnet so please forgive me if I'm in the wrong group, my son attends nursery once a week but I have a horrible feeling he's not liking it he's a very active and happy but yet always seems down when I go and collect him, anyway I want to start going to a toddler in upper norwood but don't know of any good ones does anyone know of any mondays of fridays would be best as I work the rest of the week?

Hi there I used to live in Forest Hill and there was a fab 1 o'clock club near the park, only a couple of quid to use and a brilliant, friendly place that also did messy play and had outdoor space... was well worth the bus ride to get there
sessions were 9.30-12 or 1-3 I think.. see below which I've pasted from a google search

The One O'Clock Club is within close proximity to Crystal Palace and Penge High Street, based in the famous Crystal Palace Park and offers fun 'pay and play' activities for children under 5 and their parents. Giving you the opportunity to get together to socialise and play.

Indoor activities include:
Play area
Dressing up area
Baby friendly area
Library
Variety of ?table based? activity including arts, crafts and cookery
Fun activities supervised by professional staff

Whilst outdoors you will find:
Playhouse
Climbing frame
Playground games
Ride on toys, prams, scooters, bikes

There's a good one in the Phoenix centre next to sainsbury's on Friday mornings.

There is a free one o'clock club in Norwood park on Monday and Friday. The one in Crystal Palace park is better but £4. Pheonix centre is also OK on Friday mornings. There is also a free messy play group in Kingswood Children's centre from 1-3pm on a Friday.

we go to Kingswood children's centre on a Friday. It's beside Paxton school, is free and the messy play and music groups are great.
