Sensitive baby

My baby cries when others hold him since around 3months and now 4.5 months! Is this normal? I was like it as a baby so maybe it's that??

Yep my ds now 4 was like this he screamed bloody murder if anyone but me held him. He was like it for ages but slowly accepted other people for short periods once we built up to it gradually.

Thanks. How long did it last? I'm worried he won't be sociable

To be honest it lasted ages, until he was about 15 months very noticeably but he has no problems now. He is quite shy still but once he knows people he is very loud and fine I found we had to build up to it slowly for example Once my brother was here for 20 mins then pass him over but stay close, then next time I would move out of the room. He did get used to others slowly I promise.
