Sitting up unsupported

Hi all!

My 5 month old has just started sitting up unsupported :). However, instead of sitting with his back straight, he sits with it leaning forward. Is that normal?

Totally normal in my experience. Try it yourself, leaning forward is far easier. Eventually he will sit upright. I used to put my kids' hands on their thighs or knees for balance.

That's good to know! I was starting to worry that there might be something wrong with his spine development!
