Rolling onto front in the night

DD (21 wks) is obsessed with rolling front to back, and has started doing it quite a bit in her sleep. Previously she didnt wake during the night, only calling out for a feed but not waking properly. Now because she rolls into the side of the cot she wakes up and last night I was out of bed every hour.

I know you can get those wedges for them, but I think they are only suitable up to 6 months and she is 5 months now so not sure if good value for money.

Is this just a phase or is this just the joy of parenthood and soon she will be sitting up and rattling the bars of the cot to boot!?

Longlegs are you there - is your ds still doing same?

my ds is 7 months and has been doing the reverse - back to front rolling. i've been putting a rolled blanket in front and behind him (he tends to sleep on his side) once he's asleep and this seems to be doing the trick.

I just realise I wrote front to back and I meant back to front!

I was doing same kipper but dd started grabbing the blanket and I was worried about her pulling it over her face in the night

It's just a phase, it will pass soon.

I used those wedges with dd for ages, longer than 6 months, but she was quite a small baby.

thanks fredly for the reassurance!

I wedged last night with blankets after turning her for the (felt like) zillionth time!!
