Have only just discovered this, DD refused to go for her nap today and must've done it whilst I was getting 4mo DS to sleep.

What should I say to her? I don't want to 'punish' her exactly but obviously she needs to know this is not acceptable behaviour. She has never done anything like this before, I'm a bit baffled!

I have my DD help me tidy it up, while giving a gentle lecture on the time it takes that we could be doing something more fun with... we then go and do the fun thing as she's not quite 2 yet.

hb pencil all over the hallway. sigh

Good idea to make her help me clean it up, thanks. Luckily they are those bath crayons but still, the intent to damage was there Grin Angry

How far up the scale to 10 did you have to count when you saw it?

I was getting the house ready for a viewing and there was 10 mins to go, I just sighed and we tidied it up together.

It was a no-show but at least I had a tidy house and a clean hallway wall.

I found cleaning it off a great deterant for dd1 and dd2. Ds thought cleaning it off was even more fun than doing it in the first place.
