As above really. She has 6 teeth and bites me up to a dozen times a day. She doesn't tend to bite anyone else and tends to do it more when shes tired.

Any advice please.

My ds went through this at periods (mostly when teething) for about a year!
I used to sport the most amazing bruises.......looked like I was being beaten at times :(
tried time out - this worked sometimes when ds was older, but mainly it was a case of learning to be very quick in getting out of the way, saying NO firmly when I failed to evade, and otherwise ignoring the behaviour as far as possible, since the more reaction there was, the more he tried to bite me. He eventually just stopped after his last teeth came through.
Sorry this isn't more positive!

my dd does this when she's teething, keep a teething ring close at hand and when you see her lunging in, intercept with the teether! it's not foolproof but avoids the majority of bruises and i find telling her off just causes a tantrum as she's not really aware she's doing anything wrong.

afraid you'll just have to ride it out like donk said really!

fifi, my ds is 11mths and he bites me - could be the teething but we have been told by nursery that he has biten one of the ladies. I put a thread up about it and the general response seemed to be that is was a phase and he would grow out of it shortly. Was told to say in a stern voice 'NO' and then place him on the floor everytime he did it, and that he should learn from it. He certainly doesnt like being put on the floor but he still hasnt learnt from it.

Hi My dd starting biting at 9-10 mnths and I decided to turn it into a game and when she put her mouth on me I WOULD SCREAM AND LAUGH BUT IF HER TEETH WENT IN (ACTUALLY BIT) i WOULD JUST SAY nO AND TAKE MY HAND AWAY AND LOOK CROSS. wE NOW (SHE IS 1 ON SUNDAY) PLAY THIS GAME ALL THE TIME AND SHE NEvER PUTS HER TEETH.

IT may work for you
