8 month old dd cries if she thinks someone is laughing at her.

At least I think she is. If she does something cute and someone laughs she gets very upset and cries.

Has anyone else noticed your dc doing this? How can I reassure her without making it a big deal?

Hmm that's a strange one. Can't say I've heard of that before. Is it anyone who laughs at her - even you? Or is it only certain people/people she doesn't know?

Maybe you could try clapping and smiling instead of laughing.
