Ds 18 months manages to wriggle of the pram straps, turns himself around and stands up (front facing Bugaboo). The straps are rubbish as the buckle slips out of position. I take him out and carry him but he is getting too heavy. Is there anything I can buy to secure him?

Try looking at "Fledglings" website. Their products are mainly aimed at dc with additional needs, but pretty sure they sell something to attach to buggys or car seat straps to stop dc being little houdinis!

Thank you! Will check it out.

Most pushchairs have some D shaped rings you can use these to attach a pair of standard reigns to. Maybe you could try that.

Hmm... I saw your title and thought I bet he has a Bugaboo. Crap aren't they? And not exactly cheap! DD (also 18 months) is always wriggling out of her straps. She hasn't managed to stand up yet, but I have taken to tying the ends of the straps together in a knot over her chest. Luckily she's quite little so there's quite a bit of extra strap to there to tie. Might be worth a go? We also live on a really steep hill so you can imagine what it's like going downhill with her virtually climbing out of the buggy!
