11 weeks ok for baby bouncer?

I can't for the life of me remember how old DD1 was when I first put her in the tippitoes door bouncer. DD2 is 11 weeks, holds her head up pretty well do you think she would be ok to try it. It says 3 months I think (don't have box anymore)...or does it depend on how well she can hold up her head?

What is defined as holding head anyway? When sitting on lap it doesn't flop back and she can move it around side to side to follow an object (usually her older sister wearing a red towel pretending to be superman).

Pie, we have a Tippitoes as well and like you have lost the instructions but I remember the same as you that it is when they can hold their head up (sounds like your DD2 is doing this), I would think at 11 weeks she wouldn't be able to manage very long in it but I don't think there would be any harm in giving it a try. Hopefully someone will have the instructions and post what they say.

Hi Pie

I just checked the tippitoes site for you it says from 3 months providing they have good head control have a look \link(www.tippitoes.com/pages/mums%20choose%20Tippitoes.html\here)

I must dig mine out, I forgot all about it and Harvey will be able to go in it now.

Thanks becca!

DD1 was defintely in it by 4 months (she could hold her head very very early) I just don't remember if it was around 3 months. Memory is terrible. I think I will try her in it when she wakes up.

Cheers
