Help! Comfort milk helping with colic, but DS feeding every 1hr 30mins......

DS2 is 5 weeks next Tuesday. Started on SMA Gold, but colic and constipation so switched to Aptamil Comfort, recommended by HV, it has helped with the above, but DS2 wakes up every 1hr 30mins at night for a feed. Is it not filling him up? He can only manage 90-100mls. Should I give him 'standard' formula as well. I am exhausted and want to improve things as DS1 starts primary school in September and I'm worried about coping in the mornings.

Keep with the comfort milk, the 'normal' milk contains lactose and might cause the colic to return. Try cluster feeding, after he has taken his fill, give him a good burp and see if he will take a little more. However, do not force as it might make him sick. Also, when he first wakes at night, see if a cuddle will settle him back down before offering milk. With my dd she sometimes just wanted a cuddle and her dummy and settled down for another hour. It meant that she would take a little more at the next feed rather than continually topping up. It will get easier! x
