Hi,

My Son who once loved his milk has refused it since weaning at appoximately 6 months. He now only has milk over his cereal every morning. He has taken Abidec as a supplement ever since,as advised by the health visitor. I'm happy with this situation and he has a very varied diet with plenty of dairy.
Abidec now do a mulitivitamin syrup with Omega 3 which can help support healthy brain function and concentration. I'm in no way concerned at the moment about my Son's concentration, he's a typical 13 month old who wants to explore his surroundings.
I'm after some feedback on people's experiences with any vitamin which has added Omega 3. Did it benefit your child?

Thanks so much

I don't think you can really tell what it's doing as you don't know how your child would be if they weren't getting it IYSWIM.
IMO a much better quality supplement would be a children's multivit from Solgar, Higher Nature or Biocare.

I also don't think you can tell the effect. However, I give the Boots Multivitamin Liquid and the Boots Omega 3 liquid which are a nice orange flavour. The Abidec drops were not popular here - foul tasting things.

I started the Omega 3 supplement because DC had a fussy stage and refused salmon/other fish, butter / spread, and most other sources of Omega 3.

DC looks forward to vitamins after dinner and reminds me if I forget.

The floradix liquid supplement is quite tasty too!
