Not sure what to do about DS not liking one of our friends.

Lovely male friend of ours is hated by DS (2.3) to the point that he is screaming and trembling just at the sound of his voice.

We thought we were making progress when we met him and his family at the park (previously on his own and at our house) and everything went well, only to find that when he came round earlier today we reverted back to how he was before.

[baffled emotion] Any tips?

Our DD had a thing about my brother at around the same age - we realised it was because she wasn't keen on his beard and his motorbike helmet, which he was usually removing as he walked in to the room (removing the helmet, not the beard that is Wink).

Children are often spooked by the craziest of things (pitch of voice, colour of hair, glasses, tattoos etc) but they get over it.

DD is like this with a few people, she would screem at my sil until she was sick (dd not sil), we worked out that she did'nt like people with long hair as at the time i had short hair and so did most people around her. Has your friend got anything different about him like facial hair, does he wear glasses etc...?

my ds has always been spooked by women with light/bonde or grey hair and black eyebrows!

Unfortunately my mum is one of them.It is getting easier htough and he's 3.5 now.

Sorry not much help really.

He has longish hair for a bloke but thats about it. He hasnt particularly got a deep boomy voice/beard/ glasses or anything though. Ive already been tried to think along those lines.
