DS turned 1 today and all pf a sudden realised he is no longer a baby!
He has massively started copying everything myself and partner do/say & wanting to feed himself.
We went to the zoo today and he was picking out animals and immitating there sounds.
I'm a bit overwhelmed! It seems like hes grown up in a day!

I love this stage. I found 18 months to 2.5 years is magical. You have many cool experiences to come Grin

I remember a group of us at toddler group, whose children were all the same age, getting together in amazement at how our babies had turned into toddlers overnight on their birthday.

A year on we watched another group of mums do the same thing and giggled as their children were so clearly still babies (just more upright).

He is growing up, but goodness he has so much further to go Grin
