Is there something in the air this year??

I have never known a holiday like it for snipey siblings. And it seems whether I talk to friends, Sil's or you lot people are saying the same.

My too are quite laid back and usually love the holidays but have been really needley. Another friends two boys adore each other usually had her to tears last week.

After a long chat with a friend yesterday we've decided it's the Olympics fault, and that our dc's have subliminally decided they should be doing amazing exciting once in a life time stuff. Not going to the park, playing with friends or going to the library.

Please tell me this phenomenon is not local to us and others are suffering.
I'll feel MUCH better if you do.

This year has been the worst year ever for the dc arguing,bickering,moaning,whining etc etc....

Another friend's daughter is outraged because EVERYONE got to go to the Olympics except her. After a brief poll of everyone her dd knows it transpired that everyone else had watched it on the TV too.

I think the weather and lack of cash have been a big factor this summer too. Its too hard to play inside and too wet to play out
