10 weeks and won't stop feeding!

My ds is 10 weeks today and for the past 3 days he has done very little other than feed (bf), following which he will tend to fall asleep, wake after around half an hour, fuss and grizzle then feed again... And repeat. Very few smiles and little interest in playing - he is usually a very content baby who can spend up to half an hour playing in his gym or his bouncy chair. The only significant event this week is that he has moved from his basket to his cot, which has gone relatively smoothly except he has woken up twice rather than his usual once between 11pm and 6.30 am a couple of times. Don't know why this change would make him feed so much during the day? Could it be a growth spurt? Any advice or ideas would be great as am worried that he isn't having any fun, and am worn out with all his feeding!

Growth spurt!! Probably a development milestone coming too if he is sleeping a lot and fussing. All I can say is if you can, sleep when he sleeps and keep hydrated and eat lots :)

Growth spurt.

Oh that's what they do - agreed probably a growth spurt. I remember expressing first thing and then giving DD that bottle at night to try to fill her up for the night. Might be worth a go?
