21 month old DS 'flits' from thing to thing...

Everyone tells me it's very usual, but DS doesn't seem to concentrate on anything. Sometimes for more than a few seconds or a minute or two - Unless he's really into an activity, like sorting things or something involving water.

It's exhausting at parks and activity places.

Is this how it is at this age and when the hell do they start to do something for a while?

You've just described my 2 yr old, so you're not alone. Plus, something that is fascinating one day holds absolutely no interest the next.

I only have one so no idea when it stops...

It's so true. Today at a group he was utterly disinterested in something that he loved last week.

He is very curious, I think, lots to take in...
