Is my 7 month old baby the only one in the world that doesn't sleep through the night?

My dd still wakes at least 5 times during the night and is wide awake by 5am!

She has an hr nap from 8.30-9.30 then 2hrs from 1-3. We do bath, bottle, bed at 6 and she is usually asleep by 6.30-7.

She still feeds once during the night - seems v hungry.

ALL my friends babies have slept through for months now! I'm going back to work in September and I just wish she would sleep!!

Not fair - rant over :)

No isn't just you my dd is nearly 10months and isn't even close to STTN, coupled with the fact that 3yo ds gets up at 5am I have resembled a character from the walking dead for almost a year now :(

My 15 month old son, has just started to sleep through the night in the last 2 months or so. I also thought he was the only one waking up during the night.
So you are not the only one, don't worry, your baby will sleep through the night when she is ready.

An elderly friend of the family used to be a nanny in the 'olden' days to lots of children and she said to me, don't worry he'll sleep when he has all his teeth. She was spot on, from 2.5 yrs he slept through. My DD however slept through from just 3 months. Maybe it's boys - much more needy IMO!

My DD is 20mo and has only just started sleeping through. Strangely, as LuckyStar says, it did seem to coincide with her getting all her teeth (she started teething at 3 months). She still wakes sometimes in the night but it's normally just for her dummy.

It is hard...it's knackering...but it WILL get better x

Mine only started sleeping through at about 15ms (because wearing himself out in the day with exercise), but this feat is still only accomplished by going to sleep between 10 and 11pm (bedtime routine starts around 8:30) and making sure he has a full stomach. When he was 7ms I was trying desperately to get him to sleep better, and so he got a bowl of semolina or rice pudding last thing. It helped.

My 6.5 month old does not sleep and hasn’t been for about 4 months. She has severe eczema and we think that this may be the reason she is awake at night as she wakes up scratch at her face. We have tried the following:

Change her milk to prescription milk
Changed her bedding to bamboo bedding
Weaned her onto solids as advised by the dietician
Cut strawberry, bananas and wheat from her diet
Using diprobase cream
Using dermal 600 bath emollient with no soap

We’ve established a bedtime routine, she has a bath every other day, we give her milk and then she has lullaby’s sang to her at night before she goes to bed.

Really have no idea what else to do to get her to sleep! Any advice would be amazing 🙏

Mine slept through at 11 months. The first wake-up of the night got gradually later from 6 months.

My daughter was waking up 3-4 times until the age of 2. I think you are expecting too much from a little baby. Some kids sleep, some don’t.
