My 2.9 DS has to go to bed with a mountain of books by his bed and some in his bed covering his feet on top of the duvet. At the moment he is lying on the sofa as he wanted a nap and he has books on his feet, a wooden frog, a plastic horse and 2 firemen.....why LOL

Toddler like to hoard. At least it's not a potato and dust pan and brush

There was someone on here whose toddler only wanted a potato for Christmas!

When my DS was around 18 months he spent an entire day cuddling a marrow :o

I have to spend 20 minutes on average before bedtime looking for various specific plastic animals that have been hidden in odd corners around the house before DS will even consider getting in to bed. It is a nightmare. He sleeps on top of them. ON TOP of them. And they're all hard, plastic and spikey.

They're obviously not Real Princesses and dm used to say to me.

Mooch the Messy loved a crunchy bed though.

My DS has to go to bed with hard plastic dinosaurs and horse too. They are funny aren't they?

Love the marrow cuddling LOL

The marrow thing is brilliant! My DD has to go to bed with an assortment of books under her pillow, it must be so uncomfortable! Then they all fall out throughout the night, landing with a thud which always wakes me up! Grin
