Coping with a new home, new school and new language

My nanny's son (22months old) is coming to stay with her. He's been living with his grandparents but she can now afford to have him with her and her husband. But, it means a new home for him, a new school and even a new language. Very worried about him adjusting. Any tips?

He will be fine, children of that age are very adaptable. So long as he has lots of love and stability once he arrives he will adjust very quickly.

LO's pick up second languages very quickly too. If he is going to day nursery your nanny could ask them to use photos and a visual timetable to help him understand what is going on.
