dd1 (who is 6), has in the last week started being a right little madam - answering back to everything I say - from home work to the way I do her hair in the morning, She's in Prinmary 1 (equiv of reception) but is in a composite class of p1-7 (as she is in Gaelic medium) and so is in contact all day with older kids - I think this is the prob - though I wouldnt change it for the world, she is fluent in another language already.
Help!!! I shouted at my ds yesterday, am just knackered with dd2 waking up teething (she's 2) and want to be normal coping mummy but they are all doing my head in!!!

Oh you must be tired what with the teething as well! My DS is younger so hopefully someone with more experience will be along soon, but I reckon you will just have to be really careful not to get drawn into arguments with her - if you get cross when she answers back it could so quickly escalate to big arguments. I think the key is to have a consequence in mind - if she is really rude, she loses this or that or whatever you think will register with her, and stick to it. And just ignore it whenever you can, telling her you don't talk to people who are rude to you.

HTH!
