15 MO beating me the WHOLE time :-(

My DS is getting more and more violent towards me and it's making me quite sad TBH. I get smacked, slapped, bitten and pinched the whole time and constantly saying "no" and reprimanding him is getting me down.

I know he's only little and testing boundaries, but it just feels like noone else's LOs are as bad as DS. He does it to DH and occassionally to his key worker at nursery, but I bear the brunt.

He's OK-ish around other children, but if they try and play with him (on a fake kitchen for example at playgroup) he'll get really angry and yank them away from the toy.

At the moment I will say no and put him on the floor facing away from me, then I'll walk away. He inevitably cries, but will sometimes whack me again when I go back to him out of rage.

HELP!!

It's the price/prize you get for being Mummy. My third is like this, it's getting a little better now he is nearly 18 months, but on a bad day it is very tedious. I alternate between telling him we stroke etc. or just saying "no" and plonking him on the floor. (Then picking him up 10 seconds later when he cries, but he gets the point.)

At 15 months he won't get sharing. Anything someone else has looks much more fun than what he has, and he is very unlikely to want to give up what he has. Normal for stage.

It will get better, good luck.
