I just wondered what others do in my situation. DS 18 months, DD 5 months. I find it quite difficult to get out and wondered what sort of things others do with 2 so close in age.

Hi Podkin,
My dd1 was 14 months old when dd2 came along. I do not drive, so found I had to have a double buggy. I tried allsorts and dont think I ever found one I was truely happy with. Due to me suffering with back problems and living on top of a hill. However, saying that I did try to get out as much as I could. I joined a local mums and toddlers group, which meant I could have a cuppa with some other women. We walked around the park, and visited my parents a lot.
DD1 will now be 4 in June and DD2 3 in August, I am due my 3rd child in July.
Have you looked to see what's on offer in your local area? For instance, our local library run groups from newborn upwards (stories, songs etc). Also our local surestart run activities, the creche there is great and the activities are free.
