help! where does your baby nap?

i have a 22 month old and a 6 month old. the baby has 3 naps a day and up until now i've been wearing him in a sling for his morning and afternoon naps and nursing him on the sofa for his lunchtime nap while my toddler naps in his cot upstairs.

i would like to stop having to sling him for his morning/afternoon naps as it's doing my back in and i can't easily play with my eldest, or change him.

my eldest used to feed to sleep in his room then i'd put him down (carefully!) and sneak out. this was a very time consuming process and one that i don't have the luxury of repeating this time around!

what does everyone else do?

My 10mo goes in her cot for naps and has done since she was 6 months, I used to cuddle her to sleep up until last month when I for so fed up fighting with her so I did CC, not everyone's cuppa but it worked and she now goes down for a nap without a whimper, cuddles her teddy and falls asleep. What about putting your youngest in a pram and see if you can get him to sleep that way?

My four month old sleeps in his pram in the living room during the day.

My 9.5 month old falls asleep on me and I put him either in his cot in his room or in the playpen/travel cot in the lounge. At nursery he falls asleep on one of the girls and then sleeps on the blanket/rug.

thanks for all your replies, i'll definitely give it a go with the buggy in the hallway i think. both of mine are quite light sleepers, I find it hard to put them down while they're asleep.

My toddler likes to bust out the noisy toys and screeching sessions at inappropriate moments - makes things tricky sometimes!
