I am at the end of my teather!! I have 21 month old fraternal twins (Caitlin and Steven) Steven is constantly biting Caitlin and for no apparant reason! She is covered from the top to bottom of her arms and back with fresh bites on top of old ones. This has been happening for the past 7 months, i have been to the doctors, health visitor and now a behavioural expert and every tip i have been giving is not working at all if anything i feel like its getting worse! Has a anybody been through this and if so i would be so grateful for and tips!

Thank you

Haven't had twins so can't be of much use. Have you tried posting on the multiples section as you may get some more experience there.

Just out of interest, what do you do when he bites?

Recently i have been advised not to shout, calmly say "no no we dont bite" take him out of the situation with no toys and favor Caitlin. But as previously stated he has got alot worse since trying this ( advice form behavioural expert)

Thank you for the reply. I am new to Mumsnet so will try the multiple section and see if i have any joy there.

Sorry to hear it has got worse. We did have trouble with DD biting me at about this age. It stopped when she bit me really hard and DGrandad, whom she loves looked shocked and shouted at her (the only time he has ever shouted in front of them). Although obviously I'm willing to loan out my Dad, it might not have the same effect on your DS Grin. Have a read of 16 ways to stop biting and hitting instead.

Welcome to MN too and hope you do get some more traffic on the multiples section Smile.
