itchy toddler at night

my daughter is almost three...and tonight she isnt sleeping...just keeps scratching everywhere...it was very hot in the room so i put a fan in there...anyone else have this issue...is anyone using humidifiers?

My dd (3.2) is also the same at the moment - got heat rash on her back and chest.

i've tried a very cool bath before bed, keeping her hair up so it's not making her neck and back hot and a very light thin top on just to try and stop her aggravating it by itching.

our bedrooms are also very hot (not helped by her insistance on having all doors upstairs shut!), am hoping it'll cool down a bit soon.

she could have had a food reaction ...but i put a fan in her room and rubber her body with some olive oil and she settled down an hour after that ...and thsi morning she woke up and said mummy ...fan made my itchy better
