My DD is 18mo, she has been sleeping from about 13 months old with occasional waking just for dummy. For the last week she has been waking at around 1am and is WIDE awake, not really crying just awake so we have been getting up as she will not lie there, anyway she will not go back down until about 5ish!
I know she is teething at the mo, do you think this is affecting it as it never really has this bad before, she has one nap at lunch for around 2hours.
Your advice would be very very grateful!!

18 month sleep regression. I think we might be about to get it too, DS is almost 18 months, and the last 2 nights he has woken at 3am, crying a lot and refusing to go back to sleep in his cot so I ended up taking him into bed and eventually he went to sleep. He wakes for the day early anyway, usually about 5.30 so I'm hoping the night waking won't become regular. Just remind yourself that it's only temporary... and have a cup of tea Brew

Calpol and/or baby nurofen for the teething - I used to go into DS room about 10-11pm when he was sound asleep and give him 5ml of one or the other almost like a dreamfeed. I used a syringe rather than a spoon - much less messy! Pre-empting the pain when I knew he was teething meant he had much higher chance of sleeping through.
If she's not crying, can you just leave her to resettle in the cot? If she's happy, it doesn't really matter if she's awake, it'll probably be less stimulating than you going in. Good luck.
