My DS is really very grumpy quite a lot of the time. HAs anyone else had a grumpy baby who turned into a cheerful toddler? Sleeps really well (minimum 11hrs at night, 2.5 hrs during the day) and eats well. Just seems to have short attention span and likes grumbling......

My DS was a very grumpy baby - but a very grumpy toddler too! :( sorry! But if it helps at all by the time he got to 2 1/2 he was a pure delight. I still look at him (he is 9) and am amazed that such a grumpy baby/toddler could turn into such a well natured lovely chap! Even friends comment on how he is so different to when he was a babe. Hope that reassures!

is he crawling yet? if not he could be a bit frustrated. My DS, also 8mths, seems to be getting a bit bored of his toys - maybe yours is too. made a treasure basket following advice on MN a couple of days ago & he likes that. Am also going to try the toy library what I get my car back from its MOT & see if there's anything there.

I suppose he could also be a bit out of sorts if teething. That's babies for you - you just don't know!

Chocolateshoes: as you are in my neck of the woods - where is the toy library? Thanks
