3 YEAR OLD WETS SELF AFTER FALLING OVER/IMPACT ON BODY?

Hello, have googled this but found absolutely nothing, was just wondering if anyone had experienced their child wetting themselves after an impact - my daughter has done this a few times. She used to hold her breath, lose consciousness and wet herself if she cried very hard. Now she doesn't hold her breath or lose consciousness, but a couple of times in the last year after a hard impact from falling, she has wet herself whilst crying and in shock immediately afterwards.

I was wondering if anyone knew why this was, if its normal, if their child did the same? Or even better if anyone knows the biology of this.

I'm no expert on this but I think your answer is in your post: it's a shock reaction. The breath holding/loosing consciousness she used to do must have been very scary for you!
