DD roaring

Almost 8 month old DD has started roaring during the last couple of weeks. She sounds like a mini lion cub. Has anyone else had this happened? I've had a quick google and not really found anything.

It's normal its learning to make sounds

It's quite cute. She now does it instead of laughing.

my dd2 (9 months) has just started snorting like a pig - ALL the time. It's so frequent that I'm worried about her throat - if I did that as much as she does, I'm sure my throat would hurt. Her big brother isn't helping much either as he thinks it's hiliarious, does it back to her and then she does it more.

DD (6 months) does a little growl quite frequently, in a very good natured way. I think they are all just finding their voice?!

My DD does exactly the same thing! She has just turned 8 months and has been doing it for the last few weeks. She seems to find it really funny and especially likes to do it very loudly while out and about, the more people are watching her the louder it gets! Some days she does it for so long it makes her really hoarse and cough a lot

She alternates between the lion roar and a noise that is very similar to the noise the girl in the exorcist makes

My 9mo DD has a fake laugh. Sounds like a machine gun! Thing is it makes everyone laugh when she does it, so she does it again and again.

That and a 'ssssss' with projectile flob flying everywhere.

Lots of Dada, do do, baba, yay yay and k sounds but still no flippin Mama!!!

whimsicalquark my DD has been coughing too, I hadn't put it down to her roaring though! Why didn't I think of that?!
