Any tips on getting my daughter to sleep in the evenings? She settles about 7:30, sleeps for half and hour then is awake for the next two hours! once she settles she's asleep until 8 the following morning but selfishly we'd like our evenings back.n Many thanks.

hi it has been awhile since I had a baby lol but I would suggest trying to put her down abit later maybe 8.30pm hopefully when she can't keep her eyes open any longer and is really tired. then see if that stops the waking again half an hour later. Then if that works bring it earlier each night by 10 to 15 mins to get it to 7.30 that she is sleeping.

Is she waking for milk, what cues is she giving?

Also what is her daytime napping like?

A bit counter-intuitive, but IME reintroducing/rejigging daytime naps to get more daytime sleep can help night sleep; bizarre

A quick question - are you prepared to get up at 6am (or earlier) if you get your evenings back?
