10 month old keeps hitting people/other babies on the head!!!

I dont remember DD doing this when she was DS's age.

He very purposefully is slapping DD and other baby friends, and his Dad on the head. He doesnt do it to me mind you.

I keep telling him no and he laughs at me!!!!

rather than saying no have you tried getting him to clap his hands together or offer your hand for him to clap and sing a song maybe?

I have tried that. Distraction doesnt work as he is too excited at the response he gets from hair pulling and smacking.
