Two and a half year old needs to get out of my bed! Both boys attitudes are getting me down.

I have a 7 year old boy and a two and a half year old boy. Since moving our toddler to a bed a year ago he keeps getting into our bed. Sometimes I am aware of it and other times I have slept through it, which is odd as he can't get into the bed without my assistance. And according to my husband I even talk to him when he gets in but I must be doing this in my sleep. He needs to stay in his own bed because it causes a problem with sitters, if I am not there to snuggle up to he becomes hysterical. And he insists on sleeping on my head.

Secondly, I feel both boys are out of control. Neither listens to me and I find I get so low about it that I just ignore them. The two year old behaves like an older child which I suppose is his brothers influence. If my 7 year old listened to my instructions that would be half the battle.

But yet people comment on their cuteness.

I am really really fed up.

It does get better. When my DS2 was younger he used to end up in my bed ever night without me waking. I put a child gate on his room, he had to call at the room door and with a little controlled crying I got him into his own bed through the night.
