Help! Twins and poo!!

I have non-id twin girls who have just turned 2 and a half. The other day they went up for their nap and as usual were playing around in their bedroom instead of sleeping. When we went up to settle them they had both poo'd in their nappies and taken them off and smeared it all up the walls, over the beds, the carpet, themselves.....what a nightmare!

We cleaned them up and got them back to bed.

Then that evening we took them up to bed and they did exactly the same.

Today, I put them up for naps and they've done it again.

I've had friends suggest putting sleepsuits on back to front but they can dress and undress each other.

Any other suggestions???

I would say at 2 1/2 they are old enough for some kind of consequences for this kind of consequences for this kind of behaviour. What have you said/ done about it so far? Or alternatively a reward chart for leaving nappy on and telling mummy when you've done a poo?

I agree with shopping, they are old enough to know better. You could put knickers over nappy and nappy on back to front which makes it a bit harder. I would also go in and check on them after 5 min to catch in the act and give proper telling off as is more effective than after act has been discovered.

Cut their nap, they clearly aren't tired. I've cut ds (just 2) nap a week ago and he is knackered by bedtime and goes to sleep very quickly.

Good luck op, this is indeed my worst nightmare.
