DD falling off the length chart at 18mo

DD is just turning 18mo. She's always been little and a terrible (solids) eater. She's mostly hovered just under the 9th centile for weight/length and that's been fine, but at her 1 yr check she fell to the 0.4th centile for length and at 18 mo is about 2 cm under the 0.4th centile (weight is currently 2nd centile-ish)

Now, DH and I (and our families) are all on the short side so we never expected her to be tall, but should we be worried about her length appearing to plateau? The HV suggested a GP visit which we have booked for the end of July, but I was just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience or know what the GP will look for (growth hormone/vitamin deficiencies etc)?

DD is 6 and 118cms, she is pretty small for her age. She was tested for coeliac and lots of different allergies, also referred to a dietician (she is 3stone so ok).
She is a good eater, just petite (height and build)

I would go and address your concerns. I am 5"9, DD's Dad is 5"9, so in reality DD should be tall, but as DD's Grandparents (her Dad's side) are 5"3 & 5"4 she is following that side (though I still have hopes she grows all of a sudden - her younger brother is taller than her)
