We're still obviously going to keep an eye on things but at least this is one little hurdle over.
Mrs Forgetful - I really hope you get some joy with your school. I dont know if you saw my earlier notes but at my DS school a little boy in the same year who has some problems was also not allowed to take part (and in the end he really didnt - they didnt back down.) He hasnt been diagnosed yet but is in the process of being assessed and it is fairly clear that he does have some difficulties with concentration etc. Totally aside from my the issue of my own son i was absolutely appalled at the schools way of dealing with this little boy - it just seems so unfair.
Anyway good luck - I hope you and your child get the proper support you deserve!!
