Teething??

My daughter is 3.5 months old and has been dribbling & trying to stuff everything into her mouth (including blankets, hands, dummy, toys and parts of us!). She's been doing this for quite a while, as in weeks so thought she was teething but to no avail! Now just recently there are 2 little bumps on her gums (kind of behind-ish). Not sure if they have always been there or not! She's also really really grouchy most of the time. The thing that's confusing me is that she is sleeping really well at night and seems to want to be cuddled to sleep during the day - alot! Is this teething? So early? I don't want to rush out and buy teething gels & powders & give these to her if it's not her teeth? Gave her a liquid filled teether thingy today that had been in the fridge which she sucked on and seemed to go quiet with... But sucking not chewing or nawing as I expected? Help!

Could be. DS is 3mo and I can clearly see his teeth under his gums. Usually at the point of teething they look like they're getting an ulcer on the gum - like a grey line.

She may have just discovered her hands though.

Sounds very familiar, DD did all of that and got very red hot cheeks. It went on for about 6 weeks and both bottom front appeared practically overnight DH stuck his finger in her mouth to check and pulled it out in a hurry complaining he'd been bitten

All quiet on the teeth front for now though.
