Stressed mum = stressed baby?

I've wondered many a time whether (15mo) dd's highly-strung nature has anything to do with the amount of stressing I did towards the end of pregnancy and so the amount of adrenaline the poor thing got through me (she was breech, I was absolutely terrified of the cs, lost the plot for the last few weeks really!).

I have obviously been trying to make it up to her since and am back to my usual (relatively) sane and calm self... but just out of interest really, was anyone a stressed out mum who produced a contented baby, or were you a chilled out type who produced a screamer?

Not in my experience, with ds2 I had an incredibly stressful pregnancy.

Had previously had a stillbirth and DS2 was at risk between 13-20 weeks of hydrops so I was practically insane with anxiety. Fast forward nearly 4 years and he is an incredibly chilled and laid back little boy.

Hope your DD becomes a bit easier, she should do as she gets older. I think 15 months or so is quite a tricky age actually.
