My ds nearly three is still putting things in his mouth and chewing. It seems to be beyond the putting things in mouth to test stage and now more habitual like thumbsucking. Does anyone have any tips on how I can break the habit - fuelled by testosterone he bombs around like a bat out of hell whilst chewing things and I am just waiting for him to trip and choke!

my dh still does it and he's 35. never without pen lid/paper clip/bottle top in his mouth.

No tips other than what I do - contantly keeping half an eye on him & firmly removing/telling him to remove any objects.
