Tired cranky babe and shattered Mum!

Aaugh.

Can anyone offer any advice as to how to cope with an overtired, poorly, whingy 15 month old that WILL NOT go to sleep? Am shattered and pretty much at the end of my tether. I put him down in his cot (in the hope that he go to sleep) cos I couldn't bear any more.

Am I a horrible mum? I feel really guilty.

Sorry to hear this Janos -not got a lot of advice I'm afraid other than try and get him to have a daytime nap (even if it means driving around in the car or pushing him in the buggy for an hour)-I find that DS is better at night if hes had a good daytime nap. Sounds like hes got into that vicious overtired circle.

Hopefully someone else will be along with some advice in a mo.

Thanks BettySpaghetti! Am feeling better now because he has finally gone to sleep. Poor wee soul was going to sleep then waking himself up coughing and gettng understandably cranky.
