How do you know the right time to buy your dd a bra?

Dd has just turned 11 and nearing the end of Year 6. She's had little boobs for quite a while, probably about a year and has been wearing crop tops.

I've broached the idea of bras with her and she's not too keen at the moment - think she doesn't like the idea of needing one at primary school but I wonder if she needs the support....? She hasn't been complaining of them hurting when she runs etc and the crop tops are stretchy so provide a bit of support.

So should I just wait till she feels she'd like one? And where is the best place to go? Is the M and S Angel range any good?

I got supportive crop tops & sports bras at first, then moved on to M&S Angel bras.

M&S bra fitters can be a bit hit & miss I found but Debenhams are lovely & very helpful and kind to embarrassed teens.
